The 3M All-purpose sanding sponge is ideal for wet or dry sanding on wood, paint, metal, plastic and drywall. Featuring conventional 3M Abrasives, this sponge is made with durable flexible foam for versatility in sanding applications. Flat, contoured, irregular - whatever the surface type, tackle it with the 3M All-purpose Sanding Sponge. For excellent results when using the 3M All-purpose Sanding Sponge, sand with the grain and work through a sequence of grits from coarse to very fine. Ensure that no more than one grit is skipped between each sanding step, as this can impact the final product.
