It features a 1 in deep box with a 3/4 in W x 1-5/8 in H rectangular opening on the faceplate and it comes with four 2 in zinc-plated screws. Base plate of this high-security box strike installs with two screws that insert through the base of the box to secure directly into 2 x 4 in framing. Another pair of screws insert through the finished faceplate, the secondary base plate and fasten into the doorjamb. This armored security strike will add increased security to the weakest point of a locked hinged door, providing ease of mind while present or away from home or office.
